Publishing a Changelog Entry
Announce a release with a dated, tagged entry that feeds the RSS.
Beacon treats your changelog as real content. Each release is a file in src/content/changelog/, and the feed page plus the RSS endpoint update automatically.
Add an entry
Create a Markdown or MDX file — the filename is up to you, sorting is by date:
---
title: Team workspaces
date: 2026-03-12
version: 2.1.0
type: added
tags: ["Dashboard", "API"]
---
You can now invite teammates into shared workspaces with per-seat roles.
- **Owner / Editor / Viewer** roles
- SSO for Editor seats and above
- A new `/v1/workspaces` API endpoint
The body is full MDX, so use lists, tables, and code freely.

The RSS feed
Every published entry is included in /rss.xml newest-first. Link to it from your app or docs so users can subscribe — the feed link already lives in the site footer and the changelog header.
See it live on the Changelog page.
